Right about now, the three-month summer break seems like an endless expanse of time where you can finally get the rest you desperately need while also finishing the piles and piles of work you couldn’t get done in this stress storm of a semester.

What you learn each August, however, is that summer break is never as long, leisurely, or generative as it seems in the spring.

That’s the bad news.

The good news? It’s not too late to ensure this summer goes better than last summer and the one before that and the one before that.

You can design a summer that offers the recuperation your body, mind, and spirit require while still finishing your most important projects.

And I'll show you exactly how using my Focus + Flow Framework, which has helped me (and my clients) structure summers filled with more peace and productivity.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to...

Design the exact summer you want where you won’t have to give up family and fun time in order to move the needle on your big projects.

Prioritize what’s most important while letting go of the guilt and discomfort from saying “no” to requests that don’t advance your goals.

Find a slower, more sustainable pace that gives you the time to (re)connect with those aspects of your work-life you find most satisfying.

Find relief from the pressure and strain of never feeling like you’re giving enough to your work, your loved ones, or yourself.

This workshop is a perfect fit if...

You can’t remember the last time you took a summer vacation where you left work behind and focused solely on replenishing from the stress of daily life.

Working from home has blurred completely the lines between your work and the rest of your life, leaving you feeling depleted and unfocused.

You know there is a better way to manage your competing professional and personal demands but just need some help figuring out what that is.

The combination of your heavy workload, the yearlong pandemic, and escalating racial and gendered violence has you teetering on the edge of burnout.

After 15+ years in the academy, I know all too well how difficult it can be to attend to both work and life during the summer, especially if you're

✔ A caregiver.

✔ A minoritized faculty.

✔ At an institution that asks for much more than it gives.

The result: A "break" where you feel forced to work way more than you want to the detriment of your health and relationships.

No judgment here. Trust me. I've been there and got the t-shirt.

That's why I developed the Focus + Flow Framework - a simple process that has helped me manifest summers with the space to exhale, to work at a more leisurely pace, to be fully present to my family and myself.

I've also taught the framework to my 1:1 clients with great success and would love to share it with you in this free workshop.

All you need to do is pick a time that works and show up ready to change your summer for the better.

I look forward to seeing you.
